Mr.Handsome
-S. Raman
‘The boy who had come to see you yesterday has agreed to all your conditions. You could spend your salary as you like. There is no need for transfer. He himself would transfer his job here. He’d sell away his house in Delhi and buy a new one here in Chennai. After marriage he’d send away his parents to Old Age Home. So he has agreed to each and every one of your conditions. Shall we say ‘Yes” to him?’ Sadasivam asked eagerly.
‘No. We need no such relation, Daddy!’ Father was shocked to know the reply of Madangi.
‘What do you say, dear? That boy is handsome, and you reject him!’
‘Handsomeness should not only be in appearance but should also be in intentions. He saw me once and immediately agreed to send his parents away to Old Age Home. Likewise, tomorrow it’s very much likely that he could wrongly decide about me. Intentionally I placed the condition of his parents. Now I know he is not of strong convictions. So I don’t want this relation.’ After listening to Madangi’s explanation, Sadasivam had no option.
