Quarrel

When the neighbour, Parvathi entered the house, the whole scenario inside the house changed abruptly.

Parmesh’s mother looked at her daughter-in-law with fiery look as if she would set her afire. ‘You know I am a diabetic. Why did you make this sweet?’

‘Can’t we make anything what we like even on festivals.’ daughter-in-law countered.

Seeing this scene, the neighbour had sneaked out silently.

Parmesh could not understand anything and got angry!

‘You’re like cow and calf so far; now you’ve become cat and mouse!’

‘It’s not like that. Our neighbour, Parvathi doesn’t like any love between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in any house in this area. She’ll always sow the seed of discord between them. Whenever she comes, we start quarrelling like this. And she slips away silently!’

Parmesh was surprised to know what her mother was saying!
