When Subash invited the councilor to his house for dinner all the people of the area got angry.

All the ditches were overflowing. Nobody paid attention to this for the past three months. All the people were ready to petition the Collector. Was it necessary to arrange a dinner for the councilor at such a time? The people of the area turned against Subash.

But one hour after the departure of the councilor, cleaning work of the ditches had started!

Subash said, ‘What surprise is there in it? You seek solution for a problem by raising a hullabaloo. I took him through the same street. He came with a handkerchief on his nose. And he had realized the gravity of the problem. I told him that we’ve been living with the stench for the past three months. Now the solution has been found!’
